After a relaxing afternoon at Iceland’s world-famous Blue Lagoon, I shot a quick portrait outside of KEX Hostel with up-and-coming electronic band Young Magic.
Photographer’s Notes
The beautiful Mount Esja looms in the background just across the bay from Reykjavík.
My exposure was 1/40 and f/13 at ISO 800. I used one SB-600 speedlight on-camera for fill. I did some additional processing in Photoshop using Nik’s Color Efex Pro and Silver Efex Pro after my basic RAW workflow in Lightroom 3.
