I caught up with Icelandic post-rock band For a Minor Reflection for a quick portrait before their gig at Rock Shop in Brooklyn, NY.
Photographer’s Notes
We shot in the middle of the street around the corner from the venue. I used one SB-600 speedlight off-camera shot through my homemade beauty dish. I trigged the speedlight using my Nikon D700′s pop up flash in commander mode. My exposure was 1/40 and f/3.2 at ISO 2000. I did some additional processing in Photoshop using Nik’s Color Efex Pro and Silver Efex Pro after my basic RAW workflow in Lightroom 3.
