Terminal 5 is always a mixed bag when it comes to lighting. Sometimes it’ll exceed expectations, other times it’s downright dreadful. But don’t let lackluster lighting disuade you from shooting T5 because many major tours roll through there.

General T5 photo policy tip: After your three songs in the pit, you’re not allowed to shoot anywhere else in the venue. But enforcement really depends on whoever is working security that night. Generally, I find security to be friendly and accomodating. My advice–make friends with security. Also see if you can get a VIP pass in addition to standard credentials. It’ll give you VIP balcony access where you’ll have plently of clear shots after you’re done in the pit. That’s how I made the lead image of Janelle.

Fantastic shots!How was shooting at Terminal 5 other than the usual not-so-great lighting? I’m considering shooting there, but am not familiar with the venue at all
